The Caswell Council for the Arts is pleased to announce our 38th Juried Art Show. Adult artists (18 and older) through North Carolina and Virginia are invited to enter the show.
Awards:
The show will be juried by artist Paul Minnis. The following awards will be made:
Best in show: $300
First Place: $200
Second Place: $150
Third Place: $100
Best Piece by a Caswell County Native or Resident: $100
Entries are limited to traditional two-dimensional work. Photography is not accepted for this show. Any digital art submissions must be completely original or significantly enhanced, altered, and/or manipulated beyond the scope of a photographic image.
Entry Fee:
Current members of the Caswell Council for the Arts: $20 per artists for a maximum of two pieces submitted.
Non-members: $25 per artist for a maximum of two pieces submitted.
Payment may be made online or via cash or check upon delivery of work.
All submissions must be delivered to the Caswell Council for the Arts, 43 W. Main St. Yanceyville, NC on Tuesday, Sept. 4th or Wed. Sept. 5th between the hours of 10am - 3pm or shipped to PO Box 689, Yanceyville, NC 27379 at the cost of the artist to arrive by the Sept. 5th deadline.
Submission will be judged on Friday, Sept. 7th. Artists will be notified as to the status of their submission on Friday, Sept. 7th.
A reception featuring all work included in the show will take place on Sunday, Sept. 9th from 2-4pm.
All accepted works will remain on exhibit until October 4th. Any works not accept for exhibition may be picked up on Tuesday, September 11th from 10am - 2pm.
